President Obama, Drilling Is Not the Answer

After the blowout of the Gulf Horizon oil rig, millions of gallons of oil are gushing into the Gulf of Mexico in a growing human and environmental catastrophe. Offshore drilling is supported by President Obama, but it doesn't have to be this way. We have better options. If you'd like the President to focus on investing in clean energy instead of doubling down on oil, please sign this petition.

President Obama, offshore oil drilling threatens our coasts and deepens our dependence on fossil fuels. Please permanently abandon your endorsement of this dirty practice, and focus instead on making job-creating investments in energy efficiency and clean energy sources, such as wind and solar power.
